St. Patrick's Day Fun Shoot A total of 34 shooters participated in the St. Patrick's Day Fun Shoot Sunday March 16th. The event was the first held on the new 10-station sporting clays course. There was a tie for first place in the first class between Gary Place of Round Lake and Bill Huse of Milford. Bob Hess of Terril placed third.
In the second class there was also a tie for first place between Jim Hentjes of Okoboji and Roger Doyle of Milford. Third place honors were shared by Bruce Bruns of Superior, Jim Howard of Spirit Lake, and Mel Berryhill of Milford.
The winner of the 6-bird pheasant hunt was Don Bueltel of Terril.
